The Cloak of Evasion is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. This garb increases the frequency of evading attacks.

Dragon Quest III

Capable of being equipped by all vocation, the cloak of evasion [[called the Evade suit in the GBC Version) makes it debut by providing +23 defense (+20 in the NES Version), and a 20% chance to dodge an attack.

It can be purchased for 2,900 gold coins, and sold for 2,175.

Dragon Quest IV

The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +28. It can be worn by Alena, Borya & Maya.

It can be purchased for 3,000 gold coins and sold for 2,250.

Dragon Quest V

The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +28.

Dragon Quest VI

Provides +28 defense and may be equipped by Milly, Ashlynn, Nevan, and the slime recruits.

Dragon Quest VII

Provides +28 defense and may be donned by Maribel, Gabo, and Melvin.

Dragon Quest VIII

The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +29. It can be worn by Jessica and Angelo.
