This beautiful black and silver shield features two pairs of angel wings on it, a large red gemstone near the top, and an intricate design of a serpent forming an infinity symbol (∞) on the front. It is the initial form of the Soulsucker, the most protective shield in the game.

Etymology

In the Japanese version of the game, the brainer drainer is known as the Shield of Rin'ne. Rin'ne is the Japanese translation of the concept of Saṃsāra, which exists in many eastern religions such as Buddhism. Saṃsāra is the ongoing cycle of rebirth and death that humans and other mortal beings undergo until they achieve enlightenment.
