The Tower of Rubiss is a tower in Alefgard in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.

It is location where the Goddess Rubiss has been petrified and imprisoned by the archfiend Zoma. It also contains the Auroral Armour and Sacred amulet. The location of the tower itself is a precursor to the Rain Shrine.

The tower is the first location where the player will encounter the direction-altering tiles, giving them a safer place to practice the warped controls before encountering the puzzle again in Zoma's Citadel.

Liquid metal slimes appear less frequently on the highest floor of the tower than they do near Rimuldar, but they also cluster in larger groups.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake

The tower is beset by a perpetual thunderstorm and the room where the statue of Rubiss sits now resembles a chapel. The biggest difference is that the town is guarded by the Soul of Baramos, who will ambush the player once the statue is approached. A mermaniac disguised as a sailor is on the western side of the first floor.

The King of Alefgard describes the tower as being the residence of the Goddess in the time before Zoma, who likely chose it as the place of her imprisonment as a sick irony.
