Total War Cry

Total War Cry, also known as Violent Roar, is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is a stronger version of the standard War Cry that can damage, stun, and even knock back enemies with an intense roar.

AppearancesEdit

Dragon Quest XEdit

Total War Cry can be used by various monsters and bosses, such as Hellion, Draguar, and Gaia dragon. Depending on the enemy, it can either inflict damage, simply knock back characters, or even frighten and knock down characters.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Super LightEdit

Total War Cry can once again be learned by various monsters. It costs 24 MP to use, inflicts damage to all enemies, and has a chance to prevent them from acting.

Dragon Quest RivalsEdit

Total War Cry was introduced in the 5th card pack, "Heroic Tales of Bravery" as a normal skill exclusive for Martial Artist leaders. It costs 5 MP to use and would return all enemy units in the front row with 4 attack power or less to their hand.

Dragon Quest TactEdit

Known as Violent Roar in this game, it is known naturally by Marquis de Léon and Genie sanguini at level 1 and can be learned by Rantingen raven at level 24, Tiger jackal at level 26, and Rashaverak at level 46. It can also be used by Azurome when faced as a boss in Chapter 8, Episode 7: Protect the Machine! 2 during part 3 of the main storyline. It costs 30 MP to use, inflicts moderate martial damage to all enemies in a radius of 1 around the user, and has a chance to stun them. The skill can be taught to any unit using an ability scroll, which is received as a reward for completing the seventh stage of Wulfspade's Battle Road.

Dragon Quest TreasuresEdit

The skill can be known naturally by Magmantes, Stormy sabrecats, and Ultra marines at level 1. It costs 5 MP to use, inflicts impact damage in any enemies in a radial area of effect around the user, and has a chance to stun them, as well.

Final Fantasy Brave ExviusEdit

Total War Cry appears as a skill that can be learned by Marquis de Léon and Orochi at 5★ rarity or higher. It inflicts physical damage with ignore DEF to all enemies and inflicts stop for three turns.
