Cloak of evasion
The Cloak of Evasion is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. This garb increases the frequency of evading attacks.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III
Capable of being equipped by all vocation, the cloak of evasion (called the Evade suit in the GBC Version) makes it debut by providing +23 defense (+20 in the NES Version), and a 20% chance to dodge an attack.
It can be purchased for 2,900 gold coins, and sold for 2,175.
Dragon Quest IV
The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +28. It can be worn by Alena, Borya & Maya.
It can be purchased for 3,000 gold coins and sold for 2,250.
Dragon Quest V
The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +28.
Dragon Quest VI
Provides +28 defense and may be equipped by Milly, Ashlynn, Nevan, and the slime recruits.
Dragon Quest VII
Provides +28 defense and may be donned by Maribel, Gabo, and Melvin.
Dragon Quest VIII
The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +29. It can be worn by Jessica and Angelo.
