The pyros helm is a legendary helmet that appears in all versions of Dragon Quest VII. It was created by the Fire Spirit during the ancient war with the Demon King, revealing a hidden skill for craftsmanship buried within His smoldering disposition. The helmet is ironicallly designed to help the wearer keep his or her wits about them, contrasting the Fire Spirit's infamous hotheadedness.
As with all other pieces of the saint's equipment set, the helm is first hinted at in the Shrine of Mysteries where a stone likeness of it is used as a puzzle piece.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The helmet is found in the path of flames in the nadir of the Cathedral of Blight. It increases defence by +53 and style +33, and will also reduce the accuracy of Fuddle, Snooze, & Whack effects to 1/8th. The Hero & Aishe can equip it.
