The Brollyminator is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI. It is a peculiar parasol that has become animated.
Characteristics[edit]
Brollyminators are unusual monsters in the form of blue and white beach umbrellas with a mischievous face and a three-pronged claw at the end of their flexible handles. They have squinting, crescent-shaped eyes with small pupils and a jagged toothless grin; the position of its facial features does not move even as the umbrella rotates in battle. They are able to levitate in midair by spinning themselves. The parasols are not to be trifled with as they can send out sharp blades of cutting wind at its opponents and cause confusion with their magic. They are often encountered by the sea.
