The Combatterpillar is an enemy exclusive to Dragon Quest V.
It is a massive, man-sized caterpillar that serves as an early encounter and shouldn't be too much to handle for any player above level 2.

Origins[edit]
The combatterpillar is based on the Papilio_xuthus butterfly larva, possessing the same large upper body and the red osmeterium.
