Roundbeck

Village Roundbeck Japanese アルカパ Romaji Alcapa Game Dragon Quest V

Roundbeck is a town in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. It is located west of Whealbrook and southeast of Uptaten Towers.

Story

Roundbeck is best known as the home of Bianca Whitaker during her childhood, and where the Hero adopted Saber after saving the kitten from being abused by some local children. In order to emancipate the cat from the kids, the Hero and Bianca must chase off the ghosts haunting Uptaten Towers in the west. Fortunately, Pankraz caught the same cold that rendered Bianca's father bedridden, which keeps him anchored in Roundbeck for as many nights as the duo need to exorcise the spirits.

Besides the Whitakers, Roundbeck's most notable residents are the tavern's aging bunny girl and her toughie father, who is happy to regale travelers with the story of the Legendary Hero.
