The Hexlet's hat is a hat exclusive to the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII.
It is a hat for witches that augments the wearer's Wisdom.

The Hexlet's hat has a Defence bonus of +44 and a Wisdom bonus of +15. It also reduces the accuracy of sleep and confusion effects by 33%.
The hat can only be worn by Jessica and it changes her appearance when equipped with the Hexlet's skirt. It can be only be made using the Alchemy Pot and it can be sold for 13,000 gold coins.
Recipe: Magical hat + Thinking cap + Mystifying mixture
