Prima Donna is an opponent who Alena must face off against in the Tournament of Endor, being the Tsarevna's third bout. Donna is the only female contestant aside from Alena herself, and fights with spells rather than her fists. As such, the best strategy is to Defend until she exhausts her MP.

Etymology[edit]
A prima donna ('first lady' in Italian) is the chief female singer in an opera or opera company. It can also refer to an easily agitated person with an inflated sense of their own self-worth.
Trivia[edit]
- In the Japan-only Playstation version of Dragon Quest IV, when invited to the Pioneer Town, Prima Donna reveals that she is actually a crossdressing man. This dialogue was not included in the subsequent DS version because of changes made to the Pioneer Town, but a contemporary official game guide still made reference to the revelation.
- Dragon Quest XI's Sinderella is a similar bunny girl sorceress who appears as a tournament opponent, and is also named Vivian in Japanese.
