The Sorcerer's saucière is a monster that appears exclusively in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII.
It is a Malevolamp without a lid that is used as a sauce boat.
Characteristics[edit]
Sorcerer's saucières are grinning gravy boats that have been animated and constantly levitate over the battlefield. They are practically identical to the other lamps seen in the series with their main difference being their lack of lids. The dishes have a shiny silver sheen that makes them highly resistant to harm and they are capable of paralysing opponents with their thorny handles when they slice into them with spinning attacks. The saucières can also call forth piping-hot magma from the ground to incinerate enemies.
