The Xenlon rod is a recurring staff in the Dragon Quest series. It is a powerful staff modeled after the legendary Xenlon herself.
Characteristics[edit]
The Xenlon rod is a long quarterstaff made of dark red wood inscribed with various runes featuring the design of a green Chinese dragon at the top, with its body and tail entwined with the staff. In X, the staff is now gold and black and the dragon has indigo and blue scales instead.

The Xenlon rod has an attack bonus of +102, a style bonus of +13, and increases the wielder's weight by 14. It has an equipment level of 65 and inflicts 110% damage to Dragons. The staff can only be crafted with woodworking.
