Meteocite is an unnatural black crystal that appears in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World[edit]
This vile black stone, which grows in huge formations, was seeded by Thespidor throughout the kingdoms of the world of the Dragon Quest Monsters series. If allowed to fester, meteocite drains the life from the land and absorbs the despair of its people, which Thespidor hopes to use to awaken the dormant Fallen Eagle Lucifus.
In the Kingdom of Witherwood, a black falling star deposited meteocite in The Spelunk, a cave at the western end of The Parchland. This field of crystal was guarded by Barbarito, and was destroyed by Fluffy.
