Medicinal herb (herb, medical herb) is a healing item in the Dragon Quest series. It typically heals a low amount of hit points for a single character. It can be found in all item shops in Dragon Quest. In games with alchemy, it often used to manufacture more powerful healing herbs.

Appearances

Dragon Quest

Herbs can be purchased for 24 gold coins (10 in the Game Boy Color Version) and can be sold for 12 (5 in the GBC Version). It restores around 15 HP.

Dragon Quest II

Medical herbs can be purchased for 15 gold coins (10 in the GBC Color Version) and sold for 12 (8 in the GBC Version).

Dragon Quest III

Medicinal herbs can be purchased for 8 gold coins and sold for 5 (6 in the GBC Version). It restores around 30 HP.

It can also be used to inflict damage on Zoma after he is weakened.

Dragon Quest IV

Medicinal herbs can be purchased for 8 gold coins and sold for 6. It restores around 30 [[[HP]].

Tessie will sell Medicinal herbs at Torneko's shop for 12 gold coins.

In-Game Description

This healing herb restores a little of one party member's HP. (Nintendo DS)

Dragon Quest VIII

Medicinal herbs can be purchased for 8 gold coins and sold for 4. It restores around 30 HP.

Captain N: The Game Master

Trading in his digital watch, Kevin Keene/Captain N purchases some herbs (referred to as Magical herb) from a shopkeeper in Brecconary. Duke later removes one from a the pouch to cure Kevin after he is frozen.

Dragon Quest Builders
