The Utter nutter is a monster that appears exclusively in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII. It is a purple-furred simian with enough strength to hurl boulders.

Utter nutters are powerful purple monkeys with dark orange paws and faces that hang upside-down from trees with the help of their long, prehensile tails. They attack by hurling the large nuts they carry in their hands or by tossing boulders. When they appear on the field of battle, utter nutters fling boulders with angry fury right at the faces of unsuspecting adventurers.
