The Terrordactyl is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest II. It is a large, blue pterosaur monster.

Characteristics

Terrodactyls are large winged pterosaurs capable of flight. They are usually portrayed as a pale blue or teal with tan bellies. The terrordactyls often attack seafaring adventurers with the help of other flying monsters like Gargoyles by swooping down with their deadly talons, having the ability to attack twice per turn. They are also capable of calling for more of their own kind to assist in their assaults.
