Leftwyne is a village in northeastern Greater Alefgard in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.
It is west of Midenhall and just south of Cannock. It is also the first location in the entire series to feature gambling, with a tombola stand locked behind a door that requires the silver key. In addition, the town features the first Church as well.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line[edit]
Leftwyne is the meeting place for the Prince of Midenhall and the Prince of Cannock. This occurs only after the Prince of Midenhall has visited Cannock and the Wellspring of the Hero, returned to Midenhall, back to Cannock, and then finally to Leftwyne once more. The Prince of Cannock is then staying at the inn.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake[edit]
Leftwyne was once just a simple resting point between the kingdoms of Cannock and Midenhall, but as both nations grew so did the settlement in the open plains until it became a thriving village in its own right. The village has been redesigned into rolling field with a large pond and a tall hill upon which the church is built, and the tombola has been replaced with a bank―the minigame now first appears in Moonahan. The villagers are in disbelief of the sacking of Moonbrooke and are at a loss as to how to break the terrible news to the young son of the Moonbrooke Guard, who was visiting his aunt before the attack. In the game's true ending the Princess of Moonbrooke is shown playing with the little boy, as well as the young girl who fancies him.
