The Undentured servant is a recurring monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest VI. It is a stronger variant of the Dead resident.

Etymology
Their name is a play on words using the term indentured servant, which means to be under contract to another for no contract, only safe passage, and the word undead, used to describe their skeletal state. It could also include a pun about a lack of teeth, or having no dentures since their bodies are falling apart.
