The Kaleidoscope is a recurring weapon in the series and one of the most powerful Fans available in each appearance.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The fan is the party's reward for giving Princess Minnie 127 Mini medals, and will increase Red's Attack by +108. It has a 1/8th chance to drain a foe's MP, and the chance stacks with Blade Cascade's multiple strikes. It is also exclusive to the 3DS version of the game.
Dragon Quest X[edit]
Increases Attack by +90, Agility by +20, and will always steal 1 MP from an enemy as long as they have points remaining.
