Crocodilopolis is a major dungeon location in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

It is under construction during the second era of the game and is visitable during the twilight of the third era. It is the main temple for the Order of Zugzwang, a front for Grandmaster Nimzo's forces in the overworld of V. The Hero and Harry were slaves here, for many years during their youth. It is also the location where the Hero's wife is located in statue form during the third era. It is only accessible via flight on the Zenith Dragon as it is high on Mount Azimuth (セントベレス山 sento beresu san ("Saint Beleth Mountain")).

Etymology

Crocodilopolis is named after a real-life city in ancient Egypt. During the Pharonic period, it was the center of the cult of Sobek, the god of the Nile.

Treasures

(All treasures except for Serf wear are exclusive to Generation 3.)

Monsters

Note: The player cannot recruit monsters here due to the pervasive evil.
