Torland is the land mass of Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line. It is so vast that the entire continent of Alefgard lies within its borders.
It signifies the region containing Alefgard and the surrounding lands which are ruled by descendants of the Hero from Dragon Quest and Princess Gwaelin. In the HD-2D Remake of II, the various locations beneath Torland's waters can also be visited.
