The Cloak of Evasion is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. This garb increases the frequency of evading attacks by 12.5% in nearly all appearances.

The Cloak can be purchased for all characters in Rippleport for 1250G. Equipping it grants +20 defence in the original, and +35 in all other versions
Dragon Quest III
Capable of being equipped by all vocation, the cloak of evasion (called the Evade suit in the GBC Version) makes it debut by providing +23 defense (+20 in the NES Version).
It can be purchased for 2,900 gold coins, and sold for 2,175.
Dragon Quest IV
The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +28. It can be worn by Alena, Borya & Maya.
It can be purchased for 3,000 gold coins and sold for 2,250.

The cloak of evasion has a defense bonus of +28.
