Boulderbringer
Boulderbringer is a spell in the Dragon Quest series. It creates a magic circle underneath a single enemy that impales them with a staggering stalagmite spire after a short time. It is related to the spells Rubblerouser, Mountainmover, and Ridgeraiser.

Dragon Quest X
Boulderbringer can be learned by Rangers at level 23 and Thieves at level 30, costing 8 MP to cast. It creates a circle on the ground that erupts after 10 seconds have passed, dealing 52~68 earth-element damage to all enemies in the area of effect. The damage is fixed and is not affected by the caster's Magical Might.
- In the Offline version of the game, Boulderbringer can also be learned by Duston at level 25. Due to the change in battle system, Boulderbringer will activate at the end of the next turn after it is cast, dealing 52~68 earth-element damage to all enemies.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Erik learns Boulderbringer at level 23, and it costs 12 MP to cast. It will cause damage to an enemy just before they take action for three turns, dealing 56~68 base damage and reaching 108~120 once the former thief's Magical Might hits 145.
- In the 3DS version the spell activates at the very beginning of the round, independent of turn order.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3
Boulderbringer costs 14 MP and will deal 38〜42 earth damage to all enemies at the start of the next turn cycle.
Terry's Wonderland 3D & Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key
The spell has the same parameters as in Joker 3.
Dragon Quest of the Stars
Boulderbringer is a B-rank spell that deals moderate Rubblerouser spell damage, has a CT of 32s (22s at max level) and can be obtained from the Serpentine Fan.
Dragon Quest Walk
Boulderbringer can be learned by Rangers at level 15 and can also be learned by equipping certain weapons such as the Sword breaker. It costs 12 MP to cast and will continuously inflict Rubblerouser-type spell damage to a single enemy for three turns.
Dragon Quest Treasures
Known as Kacrag in this game, it can be learned by Marble slimes, Ham shamwitches, Wight princes, and Shiny draglings at level 18, automatically upgrading from Crag. It costs 9 MP to cast and creates a small magic circle that will deal earth-element magic damage to any enemies that enter it after a short amount of time passes. The spell will automatically upgrade to Craggle at level 33.
Trivia
The spell is erroneously known as Kacrag in Treasures despite only being a second-level spell, while the third-level spell is known as Craggle.
