The Bilebonnet is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest X. It is a green-skinned variant of the Bloodbonnet with a yellow, elongated forehead that forms a duo with the Snotbonce.

Characteristics

Bilebonnets are bizarre alien-like demons with green skin and an elongated yellow forehead that gives the monster its name. They have three red eyes in total, with a singular eye in the center of their faces and the others on antennae-like stalks that protrude from their shoulders. Their maws are agape in a joyful expression to reveal their fangs and they have a pair of sharp claws on each of their limbs. With their vile claws, they are able to inflict a wide variety of harmful status ailments and they can also weaken their opponents with their attacks, as well. Bilebonnets almost always appear alongside snotbonces, which have the opposite colouration as them.

Appearances

Dragon Quest X

Bilebonnets appeared from the beginning of the game. With their attacks, they are able to inflict envenomation, paralysis, and confusion along with their ability to perform Attack Attacker.
