Localization history[edit]
まほうのほうい and まほうの法衣 are translated into English as the magical robes in III, IX, & Treasures; in every other instance they have been translated as the magic vestment instead.

The magical robes has a Defence bonus of +30, reduces magic damage taken by 33%, and can be equipped by Priests and Sages. It can be purchased at Theddon, Lanson, Damdara, and the third and fourth stages of the Immigrant Town for 4,400 gold and sold for 3,300 gold.
