The Sootbonce, also known as the Gloom slugger, is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest V. It is an unusual, alien-like monster that forms a duo with the Smogbonnet.

Characteristics[edit]

Sootbonces are squat bipedal demons whose most notable feature is the pair of stalk-like protrusions growing from their shoulders that have an extra eye each.
