The maniacal mole is a monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, it is a bodyguard of sorts for Don Mole.

Making its first appearance in the main series, it is a rarefied monster appearing alongside the Mad mole.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[edit]
A maniacal mole and two Mischievous moles attack the hero when he tries to enter the Arena. The monster was available as a prize from online play, and cannot be obtained otherwise.
