The Woebergine (formerly Eggplaton'\) is a semi-recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. The name is a combination of woebegone and bergine, as well as a pun involving the British term for egg plant, aubergine.
Description
Woebergines are weird purple dancing wonders with flat feet that disguise their grooving skills and great gangly growths by their side that they use as make shift arms to slap and assault foes. Their infectious dancing engages enemies so much that they just can't help but get into the groove, unable to do anything aside from jig and jive.
