The Ceramic sergeant is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is an immense and heavily armed clay warrior that has been brought to life.

Characteristics[edit]

Massive and cruel warriors made of solid clay that bring crushing blows down upon any foes with series of strikes from their sharp swords. They use metal and lightning slashes to lash out at opponents, along with a magnificent sword dance that can damage every enemy in one long attack. With their ability to act twice per turn, these swordsmen can be deadly combatants.
