The Walking Corpse in Memoriam (追憶のくさった死体 Tsuioku no kusattashitai) is a monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
It is a more powerful variant of the walking corpse that appears as the second boss in Memories Lane alongside the Tortured Soul in Memoriam and Skeleton in Memoriam.

Having sworn fealty to the tortured soul until its death and beyond, this shambling remnant of a bygone era cannot rest while its master still beckons its name from Memories Lane. Bursting from the ground with newfound life, the Walking Corpse in Memoriam now possesses the potent Muster Strength ability which more allows it to more aptly sink its claws into living flesh.
