The following is a list of cheeses in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King that can be collected and fed to Munchie in battle.

Chilly cheese		Chilly Breath	An ice attack that causes 50-60 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Chilly cheese that's as cold as ice.
Chunky cheese		Insulatle	Decreases the damage dealt to all party members.	One of Munchie's favourites. Bestows protection against heat and cold.
Cold cheese		Freezing Blizzard	An ice attack that causes 120-140 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Freezing cold cheese.
Cool cheese		Cool Breath	An ice attack that causes 10-15 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Frosty cool cheese.
Cured cheese		Multiheal	Heals 100-120 HP for all party members.	One of Munchie's favourites. Delicious cheese which makes the entire party feel better.
Hard cheese		Kabuff	Increases all party member's defence.	One of Munchie's favourites. Hard, dried cheese.
Highly-strung cheese		Tension	Increases all party member's tension by one level.	One of Munchie's favourite. A tension-raising cheese.
Mild cheese		Heal	Heals 30-40 HP for all party members.	One of Munchie's favourites. Cheese with healing properties.
Plain cheese		Fire Breath	A fire attack that causes 5-10 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Normal, everyday cheese.
Scorching cheese		Scorch	A fire attack that causes 150-170 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Spicy as hell.
Soft cheese		Kasap	Lowers the defense of all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Soft enough to melt in a mouse's mouth.
Spicy cheese		Flame Breath	A fire attack that causes 30-40 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Hot and spicy cheese.
Super spicy cheese		Inferno	A fire attack that causes 65-90 damage to all enemies.	One of Munchie's favourites. Really, really spicy cheese.
