Foul anchors are animated anchor monsters that have risen up from the depths of the ocean. Their body consists of a rusted blue bronze anchor, with two yellow eyes in one of the sides of it, and a rusted chain that it uses to attack the player. They are probably the anchors of wrecked ships, that came to life thanks to the possession of the souls of those who died in the shipwreck.

The foul anchor is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Introduced in Dragon Quest VIII, it's a sentient, rusty anchor.

Foul anchors are animated anchor monsters that have risen up from the depths of the ocean. Their body consists of a rusted blue bronze anchor, with two yellow eyes in one of the sides of it, and a rusted chain that it uses to attack the player.
