Tuppence is a character and eligible party member in Dragon Quest V. A soldier of Gotha, he is able to join the party during the third generation.
Appearance and Personality
Tuppence is garbed in the traditional uniform of Gothan guards, though his in-game sprite is slightly different to distinguish himself from the NPCs.
Despite his youth, Tuppence bears a considerable sense of duty to his home land, and a keen understanding of the high costs of peace. When speaking to him as a young boy, he is adamant to join the Gothan guard as soon as possible. As a young adult, Tuppence is considerably more easy-going in terms or personality, but is by no means a layabout. He is eager to serve as his king's body guard during the party's travels, and relishes the opportunity to see the world.

Tuppence can equip a large selection of equipment. However, unlike the other human party members, he does not learn any spells.
