The Wizened wizard is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest V. It is a doddery old spellcaster that dons a seashell hat on its noggin.
Characteristics[edit]
Wizened wizards are humanoid monsters with the appearances of barefoot old men with jaundiced yellow skin, wild eyes, long white beards with an enormous handlebar mustache, and long pointy eyebrows. They wear flowing azure-colored robes that cover their entire bodies, bronze-colored seashells as hats, and have their spindly hands outstretched in the air, ready to cast spells. The elderly sorcerers have both fire and healing magic in their repertoire.
