"Shut it, you! I'll hear none of your whingin'! We're dancin' for the Dark One here, so look lively, or there'll be trouble! And-a-one, and-a-two, and a... Hup! Hup! Hustle!"
The Grey gordon is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI. They are batty old sorcerers that dedicate their lives to performing the hustle dance.
Characteristics[edit]
Grey gordons are humanoid monsters with the appearance of elderly men with purple skin, dark grey beards, pointy eyebrows, and enormous handlebar mustaches. They wear flowing red robes that cover their entire bodies, grey conch shells as hats on their noggins, and they have their spindly hands raised up in the air, ready to perform a dance or cast spells on their opponents. The old wizards have a variety of powerful spells at their disposal, along with their famous Hustle Dance to restore the HP of their fellow monsters.

Malicious[edit]
The malicious grey gordon appears as a boss during the postgame and is responsible for the curse on the people of Phnom Nonh, which forces them to dance in the name of the Dark One with no end in sight. He has kidnapped many of the young men of the village and forced them to dance as well and can be faced at the Accursed Altar of the Other Side where the party once faced Dora-in-Grey.
