Kaleidocloth is an item that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest XI. It is a length of shimmering, polychromatic fabric that is used as a crafting material for rare and powerful pieces of equipment.

Kaleidocloth can be dropped rarely by Glacial golems and it can be received from Krystalinda at Sniflheim in exchange for a Serpent's soul in the postgame. Malicious grey gordon will always drop one bolt of kaleidocloth. In the 2D mode of the Nintendo 3DS version and Definitive Edition of the game, one bolt is received as a reward for completing the quest A Fishy Fashion Fan. It cannot be purchased anywhere, but can be sold for 2,500 gold.
