Densinium is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a lump of heavy metal that is used as a crafting material, particularly for making mid to high-level metallic equipment.

Densinium has a 10% chance of being found in Rank 6 (D) and Rank 7 (C) blue treasure chests, can be dropped by Drakulards and Wishmasters, and can also be made in the Krak Pot. Goreham-Hogg will drop one, as well. It can be sold for 1,400 gold. Densinium is used in the following alchemy recipes:

Dragon Quest X

Densinium is used as a material for crafting weapons and armour, or in Alchemy to give a Weight bonus to footwear. It can be found in some black treasure chests, received as a quest reward, or dropped by various monsters, including Liquid metal slimes, Metal king slimes, Paralyslicers, Undentured servants, Cyber slimes, Visor kaisers, and Metal dragons.

Densinium can be picked up from sparkly spots in the Champs Sauvage*, the Hotto Steppe - Southern Whale Way Station, the Battleground, and the Cruel Crypt, or dropped by Metal slime knights, Clangoustines, Visor kaisers, Robo-robins, Overkilling machines, Abyssal octopots, as well as their vicious and malicious counterparts. In the postgame, chunks of densinium can be purchased from the item shop at Trial Isle for 2,800 gold and sold for 700 gold.

Densinium can be dropped by Liquid metal slimes and Metal king slimes, or received from King Flaminio in exchange for 5 Mini medals. It can also be received as a reward for completing Grudge Match: Grim Guardian with gold clear time from the second time onward. Densinium can be used to create Mighty armlets or the classic recipe for the Raging ruby in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 800 gold.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End

Densinium is used as a material for improving accessories or sold for 300 gold. It can be dropped by Hoodlums, Metal slime knights, and Metal king slimes, or picked up from sparkly spots in the Damned Dunes.

Densinium can be dropped by all variants of the Muddy hand or sometimes received by sending a dispatch team to the Glacier Junction area of the Hinterquarters. It is used for crafting pellets at the Werks or for scouting monsters.
