Goobricant is an item in Dragon Quest XI. It is an oily substance taken from the body of a Slime that is used as a crafting material, particularly for crafting advanced Slime-themed pieces of equipment.

Goobricant can be dropped by Slick slimes and King cureslimes, along with their malicious and vicious counterparts respectively. It can be picked up from a singular sparkly spot on Level 2 of the Fortress of Fear. Five globs of goobricant are received as a reward for completing the Quest #37: "Some Like it Hotto". It can be sold for 250 gold.
