The raging ruby is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. It gives a boost to the wearer's attack power.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]

The raging ruby has an attack bonus of +20, a style bonus of +18, and can be equipped by the Hero, Carver, Milly, Ashlynn, Nevan, & Terry. It can be sold for 2,250 Gold Coins, but it is not recommended to do so as only two can be acquired in the game.

The ruby can be obtained after giving the King at Medford's Manor 25 Mini medals, and later in the second half of the Fungeon.

The classic and luxury recipes for the raging ruby can be dropped rarely by Stone golems.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End[edit]

The raging ruby increases damage caused by critical hits by 10%. Once it has been fully upgraded, the damage bonus reaches to a total of +25% and it gains a deftness bonus of +17. The ruby can be obtained by exchanging 10 mini medals once or dropped by Hoodlums and Stout trolls.
