Trivia[edit]

  • In the original Japanese version, spectralite is named after alexandrite, a variety of the gemstone chrysoberyl that displays different colours depending on the ambient lighting. It was first discovered in the Ural Mountains of Russia in the 19th century and named after grand duke Alexander Nikolaevich, who would go on to become Emperor Alexander II. Alexandrite is one of the gemstones for the month of June.
