The Zepling is a monster introduced in Dragon Quest VII. It is a living balloon, and as such is vulnerable to Flying Knee.

Zeplings are creepy, zany monsters with bouncy bulbous yellow bodies, marked with miserable jagged red lips surrounding a mouth that they use to munch on foes, and a tiny pair of odd eyes that they stare down adventures with. Although sometimes they spending an entire turn uselessly staring at enemies. They bear a bullseye-like symbol on their bouncing bellies, a long trailing tail, puzzling pointy ears, and small arms that they wave in a weird way, almost like they're trying to stay afloat.
