Flying Knee
Flying Knee is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It inflicts more damage against monsters suspended in the air.
Contrary to popular belief, the skill does not ignore the damage reduction when an enemy defends.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit]
Flying Knee was retroactively added to the 2024 remake, where it's learned by Martial Artists at level 7 if their wisdom exceeds 14. It coasts 3 MP and deals 130% Strike-element damage to flying enemies.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
Flying Knee is learned by Carver at level 5. Other characters can obtain it by advancing to rank 5 of the Gladiator vocation. The skill deals 150% damage to the following monsters:
