The Splutterfly is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest VI.

Characteristics

The Splutterfly has a much darker hue to it than it's colourful creepy brethren, suggesting it's a much more malicious monster. The purple majestic wings that hold it aloft distract prey so it can build up and blast with Boom and boost defences with Kabuff.

Splutterfly appears as an A-rank monster of the Dragon family introduced during the second part of the "Dragon Fest" event on the Forest dragon's banner. It could eventually be scouted from any limited banner, as well. The splutterfly can participate in Bobonga's Battle Road as a party member.
