Land of the Moles is outside the abruptly made tunnel from beneath Ascantha Castle in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
It leads to a cavern by the ones who stole the Moonshadow harp.

Mole Hole[edit]
Mole Hole is a tunnel in the Land of the Moles. The Hero and his party come here in order to retrieve the Moonshadow harp. It starts from a path under Ascantha Castle to the outside area Land of the Moles and to a cavern.
