The Circle of Life is a special ring in Dragon Quest V.
Similar to the Recovery ring (which it is probably based on, as they have very similar names in Japanese) it recovers HP for the wearer when walking. In the Super Famicom version however, this ring is far, far stronger than the recovery ring - restoring a whopping 10 points of HP for every step taken. This was reduced to 1 HP for every step taken in the remakes. In battles the ring recovers 10 HP after every turn for the wearer.
Story
The Circle of Life is obtained after defeating King Korol in Crocodilopolis, and restores HP while strolling on the field while equipped.
It along with the Circle of Fire and the Circle of Water is required to unlock the portal in the Estuary Sanctuary that leads to to Nadiria.
