The Conqueror's axe is a recurring weapon in the series, and among the strongest axes in each game it appears in. Seemingly grown from bone than molded from metal, the blade features a sinister grin.

The axe was misspelled in its debut as the conquerer's axe. Regardless, it is a weapon for Yangus with an attack bonus of +103 and is found hidden away in the lower section of the isolated hilltop near Rydon's Tower.

• In the 3DS version, a second conqueror's axe can be found in the Altar of Wroth.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

The name was changed to the Executioner's axe for unknown reasons, keeping the same design and hiragana spelling.
