Power hammer

From Dragon Quest Wiki

The Power hammer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It is a desert-dwelling shark monster with a striped body and sickle-shaped arms.

Characteristics[edit]

Power hammers have the appearance of hammerhead sharks with sandy brown skin and front-facing eyes. They have bone-like limbs shaped like sharp sickles jutting out from their sides and countless legs underneath their bodies. The sharks are able to hover about in midair as though swimming through water. They also have white stripes like tigers all throughout their body. The power hammers have learned some defensive magic to help protect themselves and their allies. They can also kick up clouds of sand to blind their opponents, then move in and land a desperate attack.
