The Slime snack is a recurring monster in the series, first appearing in Dragon Quest: Monster Parade. It is a trio of gumdrops that resemble springtime fair foods, so much so that their colours embody the season: the pink represents the blooming sakura petals, the white represents the melting snow, and the green is for the vegetation returning to life.

• Dango|Dango (団子) is a traditional Japanese festival snack that consists of three or more dumplings made of flour, skewered and dipped in a sweetened soy sauce.
