The Icikiller is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VIII. It is a claw-wielding monster that makes its home in ice-cold regions.
Characteristics[edit]
Icikillers are muscular humanoid monsters with icy blue skin that wield a sharp claw in each hand. They wear kilts, armbands, and boots made of purple cloth, darker blue metallic masks, and a short cape of shaggy white fur around their necks. Unlike their other claw-wielding cousins, the icikillers specialise in casting support magic in battle rather than their signature corkscrew attack. Their association with ice is limited to being completely immune to both ice-elemental attacks and spells due to their habitats.

Trivia[edit]
The choice of name is a pun on the word "icicle", and exemplifies the enemy's resistance to frigid temperatures.
